Description

MUTE SYSTEM™ 63 is our highest performing MUTE Soundproof panel. It is connected to the parent wall using a patented DClox™ anti-vibration mount. This mount allows for maximum utilisation of the acoustic principal Mass-Spring-Mass. “A sound wave that hits the MUTE soundproof wall has much of its’ sound energy dispersed due to the unique density of MUTE. Any sound energy that escapes through the MUTE wall enters a “spring” space (air gap) meaning that any excitation of the Mute panel is not transferred to the parent wall”. The DClox™ unique isolation system ensures contact with the parent wall is kept below 1%. DECIBEL have used Finite Element Modelling to develop the unique geometry of MUTE. The density of the parent board, combined with an acoustic non-flammable foam backing and carefully positioned DClox™ isolation mount, ensures maximum acoustic efficiency in the system. The full MUTE range has had its' performance verified with independent laboratory testing.
