Optec New is a family of track spotlights for retail, gallery and museum accent lighting, engineered for an approximate 75,000-hour service life and designed for upgradeability through interchangeable optics and accessories. Key features Lifecycle target: designed and tested for approx. 75,000 hours (≈20 years at ~10 h/day under standard use). High-efficiency ERCO lens system: projects light precisely with minimal spill, increasing lux per watt on the target surface. Tunable White options available to support Human Centric Lighting concepts (continuous colour-temperature adjustment). Interchangeable optics and accessories for flexibility and future upgrades. Adapters on request for other track systems (examples: Eutrac, Global). Cost-effective entry-level option within ERCO’s product range. Optics & light distributions Spherolit lenses (optical polymer): narrow spot, spot, flood, wide flood, extra wide flood, oval flood, oval wide flood, wallwash. Zoom lenses: zoom spot and zoom oval (continuously focusable). Projection (framing) lenses: narrow framing and wide framing (continuously focusable) for projection. Mechanical & optical components Lens unit: rotatable 360°, polymer, available in white or black; supports spotlights with framing attachment. Cylindrical light head: cast aluminium, powder-coated; available in White (RAL9002), black or silver; tilt up to 270°. Housing: polymer housing in White (RAL9002), black or silver; rotatable 360° on the adapter. Light source & control ERCO LED modules with high-power LEDs: warm white (2700K, 3000K), neutral white (3500K, 4000K) or Tunable White (2700–7500K). Collimating lens in optical polymer to shape the beam precisely. Control options: On-board Dim (rotary brightness control), DALI dimmable or Casambi Bluetooth. Adapter options include ERCO 3‑circuit adapter or ERCO DALI adapter; other adapters on request. System & application highlights Typical family ranges: power approx. 3.1 W–34.9 W; luminous flux approx. 274 lm–4,437 lm depending on configuration. Suitable for accent lighting, outline projection, zoom applications and wallwashing; supports narrow to very wide beams and uniform wallwashing with lens wallwashers. ERCO provides planning tools and simulations (spotlight, zoom, outline, flood and wallwasher arrangements) to assist specification and layout.
