Product overview
The XP 20 D adjustable wall photocell pair comprises a modulated infrared transmitter and receiver providing a detection beam with a nominal range up to 20 m. Beam obstruction changes the receiver state to detect obstacles reliably on gates and barriers.

Variants

• XP 20 D: System with conventional 24 V transmitter and receiver power supply.
• XP 20B D: BUS 2easy system using only two 24 V non-polarized wires; supports installation of up to 16 pairs on the same system; includes protection against interference from external light sources (e.g., vehicle LED headlights).
• XP 20W D: Receiver with 12–24 V supply; transmitter can be powered by 12–24 V or by battery (3 V CR2, not included), avoiding the need for a cable to the transmitter; selectable channels allow installation of up to 4 pairs and provide protection from external light interference.

Transmitter & receiver
A modulated infrared transmitter and receiver pair. Modulation improves immunity to ambient light. The pair detects beam interruption and is designed for wall-mounted installation.

Adjustment & mounting
The photocell is mounted on a swivel support with a high-performance lens to optimize beam efficiency in any direction. The swivel support can be locked with a quick-fit swivel lock (removable with a screwdriver if required). Horizontal adjustment from -90° to +90° and built-in self-alignment tolerances simplify alignment.
