Overview
The FSP P2 smoke ventilation window is designed for building smoke extraction systems to remove smoke and heat during fire emergencies. Under normal conditions it also serves as a roof window for natural ventilation and daylight. Its construction and finish make it suitable for stairwells and other spaces with verified smoke extraction requirements.

Design for demanding conditions
The sash is lifted by two electric actuators and reaches up to 71° opening in approximately 51 seconds under full load. Bottom hinges provide optimal aerodynamic behaviour and the open sash shields the vent opening from wind. The structure complies with EN 12101-2:2003 and is approved for natural smoke extraction systems.

Glazing unit
The window is fitted with a P2A class anti-burglary glazing unit. The inner laminated layer reduces shattering and retains fragments to limit unauthorised access. The outer pane is 4 mm tempered glass with a lifetime hail-resistance warranty. The glazing cavity is filled with argon inert gas.

External cladding
The exterior is fitted with weather-resistant cladding resistant to moisture, UV and temperature changes. Available colours: anthracite RAL 7016, grey-brown RAL 7022 and black RAL 9005. In combination with suitable flashings (including solutions for flat roofs) it ensures a watertight, durable connection to the roof structure.

Internal finish
The interior frame is made of vacuum-impregnated pinewood treated against fungi and mould and coated twice with clear acrylic varnish to protect against moisture and ageing. The finish provides a natural aesthetic look.

Actuators and operation
Equipped with two 24V actuators for automatic opening triggered by a control system. The mechanism is calibrated for fast, even and stable lifting under maximum load to ensure reliable operation in emergency conditions.

Accessories and system integration
Compatible with weather sensors, ventilation switches, remote control systems and other components to meet facility requirements. Special flashings are available for various roof types and installation methods.

Applications
Primarily intended for smoke extraction systems in public and multi-storey buildings (stairwells, escape routes) while also usable for daily ventilation and daylighting.
