Construction designed with safety in mind The FSR‑U P5 is designed to meet the requirements of EN 12101-2 for high smoke extraction performance and to support stable system operation. The 24 V chain actuator opens the sash to 90° within 60 seconds to achieve the optimal geometric smoke extraction area. The wide opening also enables use as a safe roof exit in emergency situations. Durable hinges and a precision-engineered mechanism support structural stability under specified loads; the product also supports use in gravity smoke ventilation systems in accordance with VdS 2221:2001‑08(01).

Flexible installation in various roof slopes Installation is possible in roof slopes from 15° to 90°, making the window suitable for many pitched roof types and demanding structures. A wide range of flashings is available for adaptation to different roof coverings. The window can be complemented by sensors, ventilation switches and remote control systems to adapt to technical requirements while maintaining everyday comfort.

Glazing unit The FSR‑U P5 is equipped with an anti-burglary, double-chamber P5 glazing unit for high protection against forced entry through glazing. The internal laminated pane (class P2A) holds broken fragments in the film to reduce injury risk and prevent unauthorised access. The external toughened pane increases resistance to mechanical damage and weather; it is covered by a lifetime warranty against hail damage as specified by the manufacturer.

External cladding External elements are finished with durable, corrosion‑resistant flashing in RAL 7022 colour. Materials provide high resistance to moisture, UV and weather, ensuring long-lasting protection and an aesthetic finish compatible with modern and traditional roofing.

Internal finish The interior is made from high-quality pinewood, vacuum-impregnated to protect against fungi and mould, and coated three times with polyurethane lacquer to produce a durable, moisture-resistant smooth white finish with no visible grain—suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and areas requiring both aesthetics and functionality.

Chain actuator The 24 V chain actuator enables automatic opening/closing when connected to a control system and achieves full opening to 90° within 60 seconds. The mechanism ensures stable sash lifting and reliable operation in both smoke ventilation mode and everyday use.
