Product overview
The ARF NL is an internal blackout blind for roof windows designed to control light, protect interiors from UV radiation and ensure comfort in attic rooms. Made of high-quality blackout fabric with a reflective coating on the glass side, the blind provides near-total darkening, eliminates screen glare and ensures privacy when interior lights are on. The system includes an aluminium cassette, aluminium side guide rails and a cord system for precise height adjustment.

Fabric
The blind uses 100% blackout fabric with zero light transmission and a reflective layer on the glass side to reflect sunlight and reduce heat loss in winter. Fabrics are available in multiple colours and grouped into two price categories.

Cassette
Aluminium cassette provides extra space for fabric winding and protects the material from dirt and mechanical damage. Standard finishes: white (RAL 9003, RAL 9010) and silver anodised with plastic elements (RAL 7044). Optionally paintable to any RAL colour.

Guide rails
Aluminium side guide rails stabilise the fabric and guide the bottom slat to minimise side gaps and improve darkening. Standard colours: silver anodised (RAL 7044) and white (RAL 9003, RAL 9010). Optional RAL painting available.

Operation and installation
The cord system integrated with the guide rails allows stopping the blind at any height for precise control. Manual operation; compatible with the ZST telescopic rod for high or hard-to-reach windows. Bottom slat includes a seal to reduce gaps. Designed for straightforward internal installation using screws.

Aesthetics and durability
The aluminium cassette and selected fabrics deliver a clean, architectural finish that suits modern and classic interiors. Fabrics resist fading and the cassette design integrates with the window frame for a discreet appearance.
