Reinforced boxes are used for transoms from 1.6 m to 4.5 m wide. However, these can be less than 1.6 m wide. These boxes are reinforced with 3 mm galvanised steel brackets. The brackets are positioned in the box at intervals of 1.2 m and hold the profile in place. Fixolite reinforced boxes are made of graphite polystyrene (grey). Bracket for reinforced boxes The visible angle is intended to be tied into the lintel chain.
