Design
The First Steps Outdoor stool expresses Christophe Pillet’s design approach: seeking beauty in the ordinary. Its simple, lyrical form refers to the archetype of the chair. The sinuous stainless steel frame rises to form a backrest and supports a fully hand-woven seat in matt polypropylene cord. The chair variant shares the same design and materials, allowing versatile outdoor use.

Materials & finishes

• Structure: 316 stainless steel, electropolished or epoxy powder-coat finish in white 100, wine red 405, khaki green 705, matt titanium 710; embossed lacquered finishes in white 300, sand 310, brick 320, sage green 330, terracotta 325, forest green 335, charcoal 350.
• Seat: hand-woven matt polypropylene cord in natural 8102, ice 8103, anthracite 8105 or straw 8101; frame in 316 stainless steel.
• Feet: die-cast aluminium with matt titanium 710 finish; tips in thermoplastic material.
• Cover: waterproof cover available on request (extra charge).
