This is the Mangas Outdoor Multicolour carpet, made on hand-driven looms with PET fibres from post-consumer packaging. Its transformation process results in fibres as soft as wool that also allow for outdoor use. The design of the Mangas Outdoor Multicolour rug alternates different shades and weave patterns, just like the pieces of its sister indoor series Mangas Original and Mangas Space, all designed by Patricia Urquiola. The colour palette of Mangas Outdoor tends to give more prominence to earth and sky tones, seeking chromatic complicities with outdoor environments. The Multicolour model is the one with the most vivid and vibrant shades of the entire series. It is accompanied by a matching multifunctional pouf in the same design and colours. The Mangas Outdoor rug collection is completed with another model in softer colours, Multinatural, and three other pieces with a simple bichromatic design in grey-white, grey-brown and grey-blue. Like Mangas Space, Mangas Outdoor is a series integrated by rugs, modules and poufs, with which flexible and reconfigurable ambiences can be designed, but for semi-covered spaces such as a porch. Its elements are made from PET fibre fabrics and specific padding for an outdoor location.
