Seismic vertical expansion joint for facades, walls and ceilings. Suitable for joint openings from 50 mm to 600mm. Our JDV 4.07 can absorb large multidirectional movements of up to 50%. It is supplied in 3 linear meter lengths and composed of two side plates and a TPV or epdm expansion joint insert. Aluminium and TPV or EPDM expansion joints The JDV 4.07 expansion joint profile is a flush-mounted solution for a perfect, inconspicuous finish. It consists of two aluminum side plates and an EPDM or TPV (vulcanized thermoplastic) gasket. Thanks to its design, this expansion joint with insert is suitable for both flat and angled applications. For openings greater than 100mm, it features a self-centering bar to ensure that the insert remains in place despite wide product movements. This seismic vertical expansion joint allows movements of +50% / -50%. Several insert colors are available: black, gray, beige. Our JDV 4.07 expansion joint is also suitable for buildings with external insulation. Please consult us for such an application. To ensure fire and gas tightness, a firestop solution can be added to the expansion joint, such as VEDAFEU N20© blanket for large openings or VEDAFEU C© rope for smaller openings (with +20% movement).
