Adjusted connection system for the brine circuit of the heat pump
The heat is transported with at liquid heat carrier, for example a water/glycol mixture (brine), which is passed through the pipe system (primary circuit). The system is usually operated with small temperature differences between the supply and return flows of 2 - 4 K, however, high brine quantities. In order to keep the annual performance of the total system high, keeping low resistance to flow is imperative. The circulation pumps used for the entire system usually achieve a delivery height of 7 m. The brine speed in the pipe therefore should be in the range of 0.3–0.7 m/s. The GEROtherm® distributors of HakaGerodur are of large dimensions for this reason and produce only minimal resistance to flow.
