Overview
The Door lock drive – pro (HmIP-DLP) enables remote locking, unlocking and latch retraction of entrance doors via the Homematic IP App, keypad, key‑ring remote or voice control. It is designed for easy retrofit without replacing most existing cylinders and includes comprehensive door monitoring and tamper protection.

Installation and compatibility notes

• Mounting options: adhesive mounting (mounting plate) or clamp mounting on the cylinder projection; both allow non‑permanent installation for rental properties if correctly fitted.
• Key protrusion: after installation the key must protrude at least 5 mm and max. 14 mm from the door leaf; shorten the key if required.
• Required cylinder features: recommended emergency-and-danger function (outside key turns synchronously with inside key). Ideal inside cylinder protrusion: 0–9 mm for optimal turning.

Operation & monitoring

• Latch pull (door opening), locking and unlocking via the drive turning the inside key.
• Integrated sensors: position sensor, vibration sensor, door status sensor and tamper detection; irregularities are reported immediately.
• Access management via Homematic IP App: individual permissions, daily/weekly timeslots and temporary access for third parties.

Safety & fallback

• If batteries are empty or the smart system fails, the door can still be opened from the outside with the conventional key (if cylinder supports emergency/danger function) and from the inside manually via the rotary knob.
• Local alarm triggering on detected sabotage or break‑in attempts; protection remains effective offline.
