Overview
The HmIP-DLP-A door lock drive enables remote and local locking, unlocking and opening of your front door via the Homematic IP App, keypad, remote control or voice. It provides continuous door status monitoring and tamper detection, supports retrofit installation without cylinder replacement in most cases, and accepts individual access profiles.

Functions and operation
Operate your front door remotely or locally: open (pull the latch), lock and unlock using the smartphone app, keypad, remote or voice. The drive monitors door and lock status continuously and can trigger local alarms on detected tampering or shocks even without an active internet connection.

Installation and compatibility
Designed for simple retrofit on euro cylinders: adhesive or clamp mounting options make it suitable for rented properties. During installation the key must protrude 5–14 mm from the door leaf; shorten the key if required. For reliable turning by the drive the inner cylinder should protrude ideally 0–9 mm and the cylinder should provide an emergency-and-danger function (synchronous turning when a key is used outside).

Access management

• Configurable access permissions and time profiles: define who may enter and when (days, time slots, recurring periods) — useful for caretakers, service personnel or holiday lets.
• Door status (open/closed, locked/unlocked) visible at a glance in the app.

Security features
Position, vibration and sabotage sensors detect manipulation or forced entry attempts. The drive can activate a local siren immediately on detection, maintaining protection if the internet or the smart‑home controller fails.
