RADONSTOP is a waterproof made of distilled bitumen modified with SBS polymers. It is reinforced with glassfibre and aluminium foil. The absolute RADON BARRIER characteristics have been assessed by the CSI Institute with certificate n° 26/LFC/MAT/00. RADONSTOP is an elastomeric type membrane, obtained from distilled bitumen modified with elastomeric (SBS). USES RADONSTOP is used together in the double layer system. Designed for installation as radon gas protection and waterproofing for basements and foundations. Ideal as radon barrier for the indoor premises (basement, cellar and inner block walls and floor). FINISHES Upper surface RADONSTOP membrane is available with sand, to ensure that the rolls unwind correctly. Lower surface RADONSTOP has a polyethylene heat sensitive torch off film which prevents the rolls sticking together, allowing the gases to escape, besides giving a nice looking finish to the rolls.
