Description

UK33-06 shower seal is designed for a rectangular and square shower enclosures with 5-6 mm thick glass. The rigid strip mounted on the glass is made of hard PVC; the two wings that cover up the gap are made of soft PVC. UK33-06 is resistant to mould and fungi, scrubbing, cleaning with chemical based cleaning agents. It is waterproof and leak proof. The shower seal does not age or crumble, and it can be used for many years. The maximum length of one segment is 200 cm. Installation of UK33-06 shower seal is quick and easy – just put the profile on the glass and press it on firmly. If the strip does not want to snap on, place a little bit of dish-washing fluid onto the glass so it becomes slippery. If the seal moves after application to the glass, a small amount of transparent silicone can be applied to its edge to make it stick better to the glass. This shower seal can be easily cut to the required length and shape. When cutting with the intent of shortening the seal, a handsaw may be used. To cut the soft wings, office scissors or a knife is enough. In order to connect two seals at a 90° angle, we recommend cutting the seal in a way that the wings overlap. We do not recommend using pliers for cutting shower seals as they might damage the product. Tip: It is difficult to install PVC when it’s cold.
