UK24-06 shower seal fits curved shower enclosures with 5-6 mm glass. The stiff part of the seal that snaps onto the door is made of hard PVC, whereas two wings are made of soft PVC. Depending on the need, the shower seal can be mounted on the bottom or side edge of the glass. It is resistant to mould and fungi as well as scrubbing or cleaning with chemicals. It is completely waterproof. It does not age or crumble. It retains its properties for many years. Maximum length of the seal in one section is 200 cm. The installation of the seal is quick and easy. Just place the element aligned with the glass and press firmly until it snaps onto glass. If it’s difficult to do, you can place a little bit of dishwashing liquid onto the glass. If the seal is a little bit too big, it is advisable to place a little bit of transparent silicone onto the glass and immediately install the seal. As with any Steigner shower seals, UK24-06 seal can be cut. In order to shorten, the element can be cut with a normal saw or a handsaw. To cut just the soft wings, a scissors or a knife is enough. In order to connect two seals at a 90° angle, we recommend cutting in a way so that the wings overlap. We do not recommend using pliers for cutting shower seals, because they may break the seal. Tip: It is difficult to install PVC when it’s cold. Therefore, the shower seal should be applied at room temperature.
