Installation & application notes

• Not suitable for composite decking boards.
• Designed for natural timber decking boards with thickness of 25 mm or more.
• FIXEGO® should be used where compliance with DTU 51.4 is required for timber decking projects.
• The fixing is screwed directly to the joists; it secures boards, sets regular spacing and facilitates air circulation and rainwater drainage.
• Use joists of the same timber type as the decking boards where possible; avoid flexible or unstable timbers (for example acacia) and joists narrower than 45 mm.
• Certain timbers (e.g. Accoya) may require verification of screw compatibility prior to installation.
• Using FIXEGO® typically increases laying time by approximately 10–15% compared with conventional methods due to more precise initial preparation.
