OverviewKooltherm K7 is a premium performance pitched roof insulation board suitable for tiled or slated pitched roofs, dwarf walls, attic floors, dormer windows and flat ceilings. The boards can be retrofitted when converting an attic where re-roofing is not needed. They are easy to cut, handle and trim to size to suit rafter spacings, enabling an efficient installation process.
Applications- Tiled or slated pitched roofs
- Dwarf walls
- Attic floors and loft conversions
- Dormer windows
- Flat ceilings
Product Highlights- One of the thinnest commonly used insulation for pitched roofs, allowing U-values to be achieved with minimal thickness
- Not susceptible to sagging over time
- Ideal for creating a usable attic / loft space or for attic / loft renovation projects
- Low emissivity foil facing reduces heat loss through the roof and can help save on energy costs
- Lightweight insulation that is easy to transport, handle and install compared to some other commonly used insulants
- Part of the Kooltherm range of premium performance insulation
Features- Rigid phenolic foam core with a low emissivity composite foil facing autohesively bonded to the insulation core (as shown in product imagery)
- Can be retrofitted without re-roofing in suitable attic conversion scenarios
- Easy to cut and trim to fit between rafters and to required rafter spacings
