Terra-34 (mesh 34×100 mm) is made from vertical flat bars at 34 mm centres and plain round bars and is defined by its narrow aperture which complies with the National House Building Council’s anti-climb guidelines. This narrow aperture between the flat bars makes it a particularly good choice for balconies, balustrades and any grating project where the panelled area extends to ground level. Framed panels are made to custom-sizes and provide security, natural daylight and ventilation for a wide variety of applications such as wall cladding, car park screens, balconies and balustrades, plant housing and ventilation grilles. The standard flat bar is 25×3 mm deep but a 30×2, 30×3 or 40×3 mm section can be supplied for a more distinctive appearance and increased level of screening (minimum quantity 400m2). Other products within the range include Terra-25 (mesh: 25×76 mm) and Terra-15 (15×76 mm) which have vertical flat bars set at closer centres. Panels and ancillary steelwork can be supplied hot-dip galvanized only or hot-dip galvanized and polyester powder coated to any RAL colour.
