Overview
FILIUS is the smallest centre-pole parasol from MAY. Designed for hospitality, retail and private terraces, FILIUS offers compact dimensions, easy handling and stable operation. Available with cable pull (FILIUS FS) or crank lift (FILIUS FK).

More than 70 textile designs available in three fabric constructions:

• MayTex Poly, 230 g/m², water column > 1000 mm
• MayTex Acryl, 300 g/m², water column 370 mm
• MayTex PVC, 480 g/m², water column > 1000 mm
• Other colours and fabric types on request
• Fire-retardant textiles (A or B1) available on request
• All fabrics manufactured in Europe

Operation
Available in two drive variants: cable pull (FS) and crank lift (FK).

Valance versions
Version 1: classic valance (recommended when using side panels or printing). Version 2: without valance for a modern, minimal appearance.

Canopy bonnet
Optional fabric canopy bonnet available for a Mediterranean, airy character.

Pagoda design
Optional pagoda-style canopy for a distinctive designer look with a light, fluttering silhouette.

Parasol frame
Frame made from extruded aluminium alloy profiles. Key frame metrics: parasol pole Ø 55 × 2.5 mm; spoke dimensions 30 × 15 × 2 mm or 25 × 15 × 2 mm; support rail 25 × 15 × 2 mm. Surface finish is polyester powder coating for corrosion protection.

Connecting elements
All moving axes secured with removable bolts to simplify maintenance and repairs; design prioritises stability and longevity.

Canopy
Self-tensioning telescopic spring system keeps the canopy taut over time, absorbs dynamic wind loads and allows easy canopy replacement using stainless-steel hooks.

Reinforced spokes
Spokes reinforced in high-load zones by an integrated steel core for additional strength.

Frame coating and colours
Powder-coated finish, impact- and shock-resistant. Standard colours: RAL 9010 (pure white), RAL 9006 (white aluminium). No-cost custom colours: RAL 8019 (grey-brown), RAL 7016 (anthracite grey, fine texture). Additional custom colours available at surcharge.

Top plate
Detachable top plate, colour-coordinated with the frame coating.

When not in use
A protective cover is supplied. It slides over the parasol and includes a sewn-in rod and integrated zip for convenience.

Assembly
Delivered ready to set up: remove packaging, place parasol in suitable base and complete installation in a few minutes.
