Convert large parasols into a comfortable outdoor zone with infrared heaters sized for SCHATTELLO or ALBATROS center‑pole parasols. Infrared heating warms targeted surfaces directly for immediate comfort even in cool or breezy conditions. Only heaters with a switch on the housing are used.

Example of heaters and lighting

• LED lighting: High‑efficiency LED bars, 6 W per bar, available in warm white or RGB‑W.
• Infrared heaters: 1,400 W each, IP24, individually switchable at the housing, double‑parabolic reflector for maximum efficiency and lifetime, Low‑Glare IR tube.
• Power distribution enclosure: Complete wiring according to the wiring diagram in a discreet enclosure to avoid cable clutter and preserve the parasol's look.
• Cabling: Direct power feed from the distribution enclosure to the heater using special connectors and VDE‑compliant rubber cables; connector protection IP68 (waterproof).
• Rotating mounts: Heaters fixed at the rib ends with patented rotating mounts allowing 90° rotation and remaining on the parasol when closed (no removal when opening/closing).
• Power supply: Routed through the parasol mast to protect cables from mechanical damage.

Product details
Infrared heaters heat the targeted surface directly and evenly without a warm‑up phase. End users receive immediate radiant warmth, even in light wind. Only heaters with a switch on the housing are used. Product shown: Low Glare infrared heater (described version 1,400 W) – Art. 200430.

Rotating mounts and pivoting spacers
Heaters can be mounted on rotating mounts attached to the rib ends. The patented mechanism allows 90° rotation and keeps heaters on the parasol when closed. If space does not allow rotating mounts, pivoting spacers can be screwed directly to the distributor flange; integrated swivel coupling prevents heater disassembly.

• Rotating mount SCHATTELLO: Art. 202040. For some sizes, prefer pivoting spacers (Art. 200578).
• Rotating mount ALBATROS: Art. 200577. For some sizes, prefer pivoting spacers (Art. 200578).
• Pivoting spacer: Art. 200578. Swivels separately before closing the parasol; integrated swivel coupling.

Dimensional recommendations for pivoting spacers

• For SCHATTELLO: recommended spacer cases include: 6 x 6 x 6 m with valance, Ø 3 m, Ø 4 m, Ø 5 m, 2 x 2 m, 2.5 x 2.5 m, 3.5 x 3.5 m, 2 x 3 m, 2 x 4 m, 2.5 x 3 m, 2.5 x 3.5 m, 4 x 4 x 4 m.
• For ALBATROS: recommended spacer cases include: Ø 4 m, Ø 4.5 m, Ø 5 m, Ø 5.5 m, Ø 6 m, Ø 7 m, 3.5 x 3.5 m, 3 x 4 m, 3 x 6 m, 3.5 x 7 m with valance, 4 x 8 m with valance, 5 x 5.85 m with valance.

Safety & energy‑saving options

• Automatic restart protection: Art. 202051. Prevents unintentional heater activation when the parasol is closed (avoids heat build‑up that could damage the canopy).
• Timer, push button on enclosure: Art. 202050. Allows timed activation (e.g. 15 minutes) to limit energy costs.
• Timer with toggle push button on the mast: Art. 353017. Recommended if the distributor flange is mounted over 2 m; installed at approx. 85 cm on the mast for better accessibility.
