Charles is a sofa bed with Lampolet mechanism, inspired by the shape of the egg, the symbol of perfection and example of lightness; the result is an elegant model, comfortable and delicate, where curved and straight lines coexist harmoniously. By simply rotating the back, without removing any of the cushions, Charles converts into a conventional bed with wooden slats and a 200 cm mattress. The removable cover is washable according to the fabric chosen. Charles is a sofa bed that can be dismantled for easy delivery and is also available as a sofa. Mechanism (sofabed): High resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Orthopedic bed with beech wood slats. Seat made with webbing. Opening and closing operations with one single movement (sofabed only). Structure (sofa): Solid fir and particle wood. Seat made with webbing. Cover made with 10 mm. foam combined with interliner and 100% cotton canvas. Mattress standard (sofabed only): Expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3 covered on both sides with 100% cotton fabric quilted with 100% polyester fiber 400 g/m2. Frame: Solid fir and poplar plywood. Back in high resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted Legs: polished aluminum. Padding: Seat: expanded polyurethane foam 35 kg/m3; needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 280 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Back: expanded polyurethane foam 21 Kg/m3; needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 380 gr./m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Frame: expanded polyurethane foam, 40 Kg/m3; resinated polyester fiber 200 gr./m2 combined with interliner. Fabric: Specifications: see sample attached. We suggest not to sit on armrests.
