The “NISOL” Floor Panel is a throwaway formwork to build unidirectional and bidirectional joists floors in reinforced concrete cast on site. It is an element made of a sheet in EPS-RF (sintered selfextinguishing expanded polystyrene), shaped on purpose to create T joists with variable thickness and width according to the calculated span. Such feature allows to build on site floors for any kind of building. The structural functioning of the Nidyon Floors is completely similar to the common ones cast on site. Nevertheless, thanks to the high lightness of the EPS, the Nidyon floors weight on average 20% less. As a consequence, the whole structure is lightened and so it is possible to save some reinforcements in the other structural elements. Thanks to high insulating properties of the EPS, they are guaranteed very good thermal and customizable performance. In buildings built with the Nidyon bearing structure, the Nidyon Floor Panels are placed in correspondence of the connections with vertical panels made by the same technology. In this way it is possible to have a complete structural and insulating continuity among such elements, removing thermal bridges and as a consequence, optimizing the thermal-acoustic performance. The certified quality of the materials allow to products to give very good answers to deterioration and oxidation problems, guaranteeing as a consequence constant stability and durability on time.
