Green wall with live plants ALHAURÍN DE LA TORRE, MÁLAGA

In early December 2014 Paisajismo Urbano finished the construction of a vertical ecosystem of 222 square meters in Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga) consisting of two green facades. With more than 6,000 plants of 20 different species, these vertical gardens cover two facades of the new Smart Building located in the neighborhood of El Peñón, a building of bioarchitecture designed to be environmentally sustainable and have a efficient energy consumption. The two green walls of this building have opposite orientations, so one has more sun hours while the other is in the shade most of the day, reason why it was necessary to carefully choose plants for each one of the orientations, taking into account their specific conditions, thus ensuring the survival of the vertical garden. The time of completion of this project has been a month and a half. We have loved making this green building in Málaga.
