Preserved green wall ELCHE

On the 1st December 2014, Paisajismo Urbano has concluded the building of a vertical garden and a green roof in the city center of Elche, in Alicante (Spain). This vegetal work, that covers an area of 100 square meters, has more than 3,000 plants belonging to 15 species of 5 different families, mainly endemic. This combination of vertical garden and green roof in Elche is over the party wall of the house adjoining La Calahorra, an urban area without a defined use until now. However, thanks to Antonio Maciá, renowned architect with whom we are very proud to cooperate, this area will be soon opened so the people of Elche and the tourists can enjoy it at a cafeteria embedded in this garden. A design that, without any doubt, won’t go unnoticed.
