Wherever structural components have to be connected in a force-locking and water-impermeable manner, the PENTAFLEX® Modul in combination with FERBOX® reverse bending connectors is an ideal solution. Especially in parts of buildings below ground level as underground garages and basements. The FERBOX® reverse bending connector joins two reinforced concrete components statically or structurally. To seal the resulting construction joint and thus prevent water from passing through the joint, another box with PENTAFLEX® seam sheet is installed between two single-row FERBOX® storage boxes - the PENTAFLEX® Modul. The seam sheet has a special coating on both sides which, in conjunction with the fresh concrete, reliably prevents water from infiltrating the joint. In this way, proven PENTAFLEX® technology ensures water impermeability of construction joints with backbend connections.
