Installation
  • Install in accordance with NF P 98 335 and Fascicle 29 of the CCTG.
  • Installation temperature: between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
  • Masonry mortars must be mixed or supplied progressively during works.
  • The mortar bedding should be levelled with a straightedge and applied progressively; target a uniform thickness (~4 cm).
  • Slabs should be dampened in hot conditions prior to laying.
  • When laying, mix tiles from different packs to even out color and shade variations.
  • Leave joints between slabs.
  • Fill joints with mortar no earlier than 24 h and no later than 72 h after laying; joint width should be as small as possible but not less than 5 mm.
  • Clean the paving immediately after jointing to avoid residues or films on the surface.
  • Provide movement joints according to normative requirements (10 linear metres or 20 m²).

Maintenance
  • Original colours are very stable; minimum maintenance is required.
  • Applying a mineralising treatment will ease cleaning and prolong the surface appearance.
  • Do not use high-pressure cleaners or acidic products to avoid irreversible damage.
  • Use de-icing salts in reasonable amounts and avoid excess stagnant residues.
