Installation (main recommendations)
  • Instructions provided by NF P 98 335 and fascicle 29 of the CCTG prevail.
  • Installation should be carried out between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
  • Masonry mortars are prepared or supplied as work progresses.
  • The mortar bedding is leveled with a screed and laid progressively; approximate thickness ~4 cm.
  • Slabs should be wetted, especially in hot conditions.
  • When laying, blend products of different colours/shades from different batches.
  • Joints are left between slabs; finish joints with mortar between 24 h and 72 h after laying; minimum width 5 mm.
  • Expansion joints should be provided in accordance with regulatory requirements (10 ml or 20 m²).
  • Immediately after jointing, the pavement must be cleaned to avoid any film or deposit on the surface of the slabs.


Maintenance
  • Application of a mineralizing product is recommended to facilitate cleaning and extend the appearance life.
  • Do not use high-pressure cleaners or acidic products (risk of irreversible alterations).
  • Use de-icing salts in moderation, avoiding excessive residual pooling.
