INSTALLATION
  • Install between +5°C and +30°C on a sound substrate.
  • Mortars are prepared or supplied as work progresses.
  • The bedding mortar is leveled with a straightedge and laid in succession; thickness ≈ 4 cm (as uniform as possible).
  • Humidify the slabs in hot weather.
  • Mix products of different colors/shades from different batches on site.
  • Leave joints between slabs; complete joints with mortar no earlier than 24 h and no later than 72 h after laying; minimum width ≈ 5 mm (reduced as much as possible without compromising geometry).
  • Clean the pavement immediately after jointing to avoid any film or deposits on the slab surface.
  • Provide movement joints in accordance with regulatory requirements (10 m linear or 20 m²).

MAINTENANCE
  • Original colours are very stable; minimal maintenance with natural patina.
  • Applying a mineraliser facilitates cleaning and extends the life of the original surface appearance.
  • Not recommended: high-pressure cleaners and acidic products (risk of irreversible alterations).
  • Use de-icing salts in reasonable quantities, avoiding excessive residual accumulation.
