Select: Nearly flawless boards with less knots, more uniform color and longer lengths. The highest grade produced at Ribadao, Select has the minimum allowable knots and “defects” of all the grades. Only “live” knots are allowed and they are limited in size and number. There can be occasional small bark pockets and sap bands, but the grain is very clean and straight throughout.
