Natur Grade, while still considered a “cleaner” grade, allows for a wider range of color variation and will include both heartwood and sapwood. The knots are larger than Select Grade, up to 30mm, and there can be cracks across the growth ring and between the rings. Natur allows up to 6 knots per board. Filler will be used. Filler color may vary from lot to lot as it is carefully selected to complement the wood rather than to try and match it.
