ROCKWOOL® Thermal Insulation Cavity Batt is a full fill stone wool insulation solution for masonry cavity wall constructions. Thermal Insulation Cavity Batt is a semi-rigid stone wool insulation batt for the thermal insulation of external masonry cavity walls and for the thermal insulation and acoustic protection of masonry party walls between dwellings. The batts can be cut to size and friction fitted which helps to minimise gaps during installation. They do not require the use of cavity barriers. • British Board of Agrément approved for use in all exposure zones. • When ROCKWOOL stone wool slabs are tightly joined together, the edges knit together providing a continuous insulating layer of trapped pockets of air with no gaps and no associated loss of thermal performance. As well as delivering the required thermal performance for extensions and thermal upgrades in external cavity walls, Thermal Insulation Cavity Batt also achieves a zero U-value heat loss in party walls, and helps to achieve the required airborne sound reduction of 45dB to achieve Part E of the Building Regulations.
