SummaryThe Roterra 2100 is an underground rainwater cistern series (8,000 – 16,000 Liters) offering modular tank systems for rainwater, potable water (Rodrink), and trafficable applications (Rodrive). A variety of volumes and configurations enables precise adaptation to project requirements — from single-family homes to commercial use. The system is designed for efficient rainwater storage and utilization, reliable supply for garden irrigation, cleaning and other non-potable uses, while reducing drinking water consumption.
Key features- Modular tank design enabling scalable systems and coupling of multiple tanks (connections up to DN 315).
- 100% volume utilization: Inlets positioned in the dome / neck area allow full utilization of the internal storage capacity.
- Cost-efficient installation: narrower excavation pit and reduced backfill requirements lower time and material costs.
- Flexible connection configuration: inlets and outlets can be planned from multiple sides.
- Optimized logistics: integrated lifting eyes and a forklift-compatible base for easier handling on site.
Safety & structural design- Superior structural stability with an oval tank geometry ensuring even load distribution.
- Driveable versions available with load-bearing capacity up to 40 tonnes (suitable for traffic areas subject to heavy loads).
- Reinforced construction for stability in high groundwater conditions (prevents uplift and deformation).
- Multiple shaft solutions and riser options adapt to various installation depths without structural weakening.
Sustainability & maintenance- Durable BPP construction: corrosion-free, low-maintenance, designed for long-term service life.
- Underground installation: protection from UV radiation and temperature fluctuations extends service life.
- Modular and expandable system: expandable and adaptable without complete replacement.
- Easy access via access shaft: maintenance, cleaning and inspection are straightforward.
Installation (overview)Underground installation in a prepared excavation pit with compacted subgrade. Lifting eyes facilitate placement. Inlet and outlet connections are made to existing piping systems (typical connection diameters DN 110–315). Height can be adjusted using telescopic or cylindrical shaft extensions (DN 600 / DN 800). The tank shape reduces required excavation and backfill material, enabling faster and more economical installation.
