Silicone additive for solvent-based polyurethane paints. Permanently increases the surface properties of hydro-oil repellency. Description Silicone additive with hydroxyl functionalities to be used in combination with solvent-based polyurethane systems. The additive increases the hydrophobic and oleophobic properties of the paint film. The additive participates in the crosslinking reaction and consequently binds permanently to the paint film. Use In solvent-based polyurethane systems to reduce dirt grip and increase ease of cleaning. Improves anti-written features. Application The additive must be added to component "A", by mixing with a mechanical stirrer.. Warnings The paint film containing the silicone additive can be repainted after careful sanding to ensure good adhesion of the new paint film.
