INTENDED USE
Masonry mortar with improved adhesion for making joints. It is perfect for pointing porous cement and gypsum STEGU cladding. It is also used for pointing: clinker
in masonry walls (non-reinforced and not transmitting loads), facade clinker tiles, concrete tiles imitating e.g. brick, stone or sandstone as well as gypsum tiles fixed
to any stable surface, and such difficult surfaces as chipboard, plastics or rustless metals. It is resistant to atmospheric conditions (freeze proof and waterproof).
It can be applied indoors in walls made of brick, concrete or gypsum-cardboard panels, on external facades of buildings and posts in general construction.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Prior to pointing, make sure that the previously applied joint of the clinker or tiles is dry (2-3 weeks after completing mounting). Next, remove all residues and flaking layers
as well as dust deposited from the joints.
MORTAR PREPARATION
Prepare the mortar in portions up to 2 kg at a time, in a clean bucket, with a low-speed mixer, adding the previously measured minimum quantity of water. If necessary,
water can be added to complete to the boundary volume until a homogenous and humid mixture is formed. The mortar consistency must not be too thin or stick to hands. Do not prepare more mortar than for 15 minutes of work at a time. (It is recommend
to use the application technology at a semi-dry consistency so that a ball made
of the mortar breaks apart after hitting it softly).
