Sandwiched product consisting of two 12.5 mm thick plasterboard panels and a IsolFIBTEC FLC panel (80 mm thermo-bonded fibre of recycled polyester). Isolmant Setto Acustico Fibra CG is a vertical element that completes mobile partitions or plasterboard partitions and is positioned in the air plenum between the wall and the extrados of the lower floor (in the case of raised floors) or between the wall and the intrados of the upper floor (in the case of false ceilings) in order to reduce the insulation losses due to the formation of acoustic bridges (losses that can be estimated at around 10 dB) at the upper or lower vertical joints of the aforementioned construction elements. When used with raised floors, the septum can be laid without fixing to ensure easy removal for maintenance. If used above the false ceiling, mechanical fixing to the intrados of the ceiling is recommended using brackets or metal profiles.
