Wooden design street furniture Urban furniture design and sustainable. Le Forezien bench, made of natural wood and steel, offers a Zen approach to public seating. Designed to fit out collective outdoor spaces, it values a refined and functional design for a lifelong manufacture, without neglecting comfort. This urban bench revisits the marriage of wood and metal with finesse. Light and robust, it is based on a powder coated steel structure with an anti-corrosion protection. It is covered with 5 slats of solid wood, (class IV and III), resistant to bad weather, and equipped with metal armrests with rounded corners. The lines of this public bench are drawn with simplicity. From the side, we appreciate its contemporary design, created by the TF lab designers, which highlights its structure while every detail contributes to the comfort of the natural wood seat and backrest. Manufactured in a life cycle perspective, according to a responsible approach of reduction of material consumption and local supply. It is made in France, from wood form France. All manufacturing, design and assembly operations (from design to painting) are carried out in our workshop, located in the Loire Valley, nearby Saint-Etienne. The weight of this urban bench is 34kg, in order to facilitate its installation by the technical services of local authorities. It is designed to meet the requirements of the urban furniture standard, in terms of quality and safety. Its stainless steel screws guarantee an excellent lifespan in urban environment. It can be dismantled, all its components can be isolated, it will be entirely recycled at the end of its life cycle.
