ME901 Butyl & Bitumen Primer is used as a pre-treatment bonding agent and primer when working with illbruck butyl and bitumen tapes and membranes. Improves tape / membrane adhesion on cold or damp surfaces Stabilises unsound surfaces Improves weathersealing on porous substrates Quick drying Can be used down to -5°C The primer retains a high level of surface tack after drying. Exposed areas (not covered by tape / membrane) may be subject to dirt pick-up. USE IN WELL VENTILATED CONDITIONS and ensure ail recommended protective equipment is worn during handling & use of this product. For full recommendation, refer to safety data sheet. No spécial préparation is required, however, surfaces should be sound. Best results will be achieved on dry, dust and grease free surfaces. Paint residues and impregnating agents must be removed from the adhésion surface.
