It is recommended that rough or porous surfaces and overlaps are first treated with ME901 Butyl Primer or ME902 Butyl Spray Primer which will assist initial adhesion. Trim the materials to the required length / shape allowing an overlap of at least 25 mm where the materials are to be joinod. Ensure that there are no air pockets. Apply even pressure over the entire surface using non- abrasive tools e.g. cloth or preferably hand roller. Take care not to stretch or puncture the foil during application.
