Indoor kitchen drawer GENIUS LOCI

Overview
Like the ancient secretaires, the Genius Loci kitchen incorporates a hidden, intimate drawer space under the worktop that becomes a distinctive element of the kitchen. The under-top drawer (the H8 drawer) can be integrated as a continuation of the worktop for a seamless look or configured in an inclined/slanting version to create a contrasting, more striking effect. The hidden drawer is presented as a precious, customizable detail featuring different materials and artisanal workmanship, conceived to blend with or stand out from the kitchen volumes and materials.

Design and concept
The Genius Loci drawer is conceived with the philosophy of dematerialisation of the worktop: functional parts are elegantly concealed to preserve streamlined beauty and a tidy look. The project focuses on islands that can be fitted with New Logica H140 to form subtle partitions or extended with floating drawers to create additional convivial and functional spaces. Materials & craft
The inclined and flat versions of the Genius Loci drawer can be executed in a wide range of materials and finishes. Examples and artisanal options include inlaid and carved woods, sculpted natural stones, tech-ceramic stones, precious metal finishes and various glass finishes. The solution is presented as a tribute to Italian craftsmanship, recovering and reinterpreting traditional decorative practices to produce unique, high-end finishes.
