KWP-P-E Smoke Control Dampers prevent the expansion of fire, heat and smoke in smoke and heat control systems. Normally, the flap of KWP-P-E Smoke Control Dampers is open or closed. The dampers in the fire zone are opened by the actuating mechanism while the dampers in the other zones are closed during a fire. KWP-P-E Smoke Control Dampers are nonsymmetrical dampers that can be installed in the walls vertically as well as in the rigid building barriers. They are manufactured and tested according to the PN-EN 12101-8 and PN-EN 13501-4 standards. The tests conducted according to the PN-EN 1366-2 and PN-EN 1366-10 standards validate the sensitivity of KWP-P-E Smoke Control Dampers. KWP-P-E Smoke Dampers consist of 40 mm thick fire resistant calcium silicate flap, body made of galvanized steel and flap drive actuator. KWP-P-E Smoke Control Dampers are manufactured on a unified casing. Optionally, they can be provided with two inspection holes at the top and the bottom of the dampers in order not to install inspection covers in the duct system. Thus, periodic inspection and testing is conducted easily and also specifying service side isn’t required.
