Smoke damper EK90

CE marked maintenance-free EK90 Smoke Control Dampers belong to “EI 90 (Vedw, hodw, i↔o) S 1500 Cmod HOT400/30 MA multi” class. They are compatible with the European Product Standard EN 12101-8. EK90 Smoke Dampers are designed for smoke exhaust system control and mechanical ventilation, so they are used as multi-purpose dampers. They can be provided in the different sizes from 200 mm x 200 mm to 1500 x 800 mm (WXH) and in the different lengths from 350 mm to 850 mm. They can be used in the ventilation systems with air flow up to 43,200 m³/h. They can be mounted directly and quickly. Their modern sealing system lowers the pressure drops and the power consumed by the fans in the ventilation systems. Thus, they provide energy saving and low level noise in the ventilation systems. The fire safety tests according to the EN 1366-10 and EN 1366-2 standards are conducted on EK90 Smoke Control Dampers. They belong to “MA” class so they can still operate after being exposed to a fire for 25 minutes. They can be used automatically and manually. The connection to smoke extraction ducts and cover grilles is possible. Because EK90 Smoke Control Dampers can still open and close after being exposed to a fire at 400°C for at least 30 minutes, they are classified as “HOT-classification”.
