Designed with both practicality and appearance in mind, these hatches are easy to install, energy efficient and secure. Each unit is equipped with a single-leaf aluminium lid that can be manually opened to 90˚. It has a gas spring-assisted opening mechanism for ease of use and an automatic hold-open safety stay to keep the cover open while workers are on the roof, preventing accidental closing. Depending on project requirements, various internal and external push-pad locking options can also be included for added security. Made from 1.7mm aluminium, access hatch rooflights offer sturdy yet lightweight construction, and they are suitable for all types of flat roof construction. They are thermally efficient, featuring a 45mm thermal break, 40mm of insulation and a U-value of 0.5W/m2K. Supplied as a complete unit, ready to fit, each hatch comes with a 300mm upstand as standard. Other kerb configurations can be provided to suit specific installation requirements.
