Vratza, also known as “Avorio” (trans. Ivory) is a croatian limestone, characterised by the uniform beige colour. Its neutral colour, makes it suitable for applications in many settings. The Vratza blocks are medium-big sized and available in good quantity. This limestone is usually selected for indoor applications. Vratza as all the other limestone, does not have a crystalline structure of marbles and therefore cannot be polished. The main finishings applied to it are honing and brushing. The Vratza slabs do not need particular treatments such as resining or net-backing. This limestone is commonly used for floorings, claddings, ventilate facades, stairs, countertops,..
