Lightweight clay insulation For this interior insulation, a slatted construction is attached to the existing wall to attach the Harundo reed fabric. The space between is filled with a Terra Forma lightweight clay fill. For thicker layers, we recommend using rough-sawn formwork instead of Harundo reed fabric. This insulation system is particularly advantageous when insulating half-timbered or quarry stone masonry. Lightweight clay fills even out the rarely straight wall surfaces and at the same time ensure better thermal insulation and heat storage. The surface temperature of the wall is increased.
