ZIEHL-ABEGG is the only fan manufacturer to develop and manufacture its own products for fan speed control. UNIcon control modules record system values and control power units such as frequency converters or EC fans on this basis. There are several variants to choose from. From multifunctional devices to sensor control modules specifically tailored to applications in refrigeration or air conditioning. UNIcon control modules can be used to control single or multiple fans. Pre-programmed operating modes can be selected for typical applications of our customers. Depending on the application, the appropriate sensors are connected. UNIcon universal control modules can be combined with all ZIEHL-ABEGG sensors. The actual value measured on the sensor is compared to the required nominal value. The UNIcon sensor control module combines sensor functions and control intelligence. The actual and nominal values are compared. Depending on the version, ECblue motors and fans, frequency inverters and other power controllers are actuated by a 0 – 10 V signal or by a MODBUS.
