FAVETON Hollow is a ceramic slab that has been specifically designed for ventilated facades.
Thanks to its tongue and groove structure on the horizontal joint and the anchoring system used, FAVETON Hollow forms a watertight ceramic façade, preventing the efflorescence and humidity that frequently occur on the inner face of buildings, in cold, wet climates.
This material's excellent technical properties (frost resistance, resistance to chemical aggressions, high mechanical resistance, improvement in acoustics and energy savings in buildings, standard anti-graffiti treatment, etc.) make FAVETON an ideal ceramic material for ventilated ceramic facade solutions.
FAVETON Hollow is available in different formats, in heights ranging from 200 mm to 500 mm and lengths of up to 1500 mm, allowing numerous modular layouts for different project solutions, including combinations with other materials. All the Faveton products are characterized for being a material type porcelánico stoneware, fulfilling all the characteristics technical, below the norm of 3% of water absorption, arriving to give values = or < of 1% of water absorption.
Faveton has an ample range of colors picked up under colors standard (natural and enamelings) and special colors (enameled mates and brightness). Faveton can develop special colors that are not picked up in their letter of standard.
Faveton also puts at the disposal of its clients a technical department that studies new formats (prototypes) for singular projects.

Ventilated facade
PRINCIPLE AND DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM
The tiles pay attention by means of staples of stainless steel to the vertical or horizontal substructure, constituted by vertical posts, anchored to the facade has supported through separators

Architectural Mesh

The siding profiled panels are manufactured continuously and cut after the roll-forming process to customer specification.
For structural reasons, panels should not be longer than 6,000 mm.
The thermal expansion due to temperature differences according to weather conditions may affect the aesthetic of a wall. For this reason, it is necessary to take precautions for accommodating the thermal expansions. In most cases, this can be provided for either by a relatively flexible support or a bigger borehole size so that thermal stresses will be avoided.
Aluform Siding profiled panels are mainly suitable for covering walls. They can be installed both vertically and horizontally.
Possible structures for use are:
Exterior shell of a multi-layer wall with interior shell of profiled and spacer; exterior shell of a multi-layer wall in conjunction with steel waffle panels as interior shell;
curtain wall in front of concrete or brickwork walls with intermediate structure and with or without insulation.

The Aluform cassette is lengthwise-shaped and allows the building to be resistant to the weather in a simple, durable way. At the same time, the visual impression can be influenced in a variety of ways through colouring and surface structure according to customer specification.

VENTILATED CURTAIN WALL SYSTEM: URANO
The carrying structure is made up of extruded aluminium profiles, alloy 6060 (EN573 - 3 and EN755-2) in the thermal treatment EN515, having as a unique base a vertical profile right at the axis to the joining point of the panels.
The vertical profile is duly shaped in order to house, without boring or milling (thus not affecting the anodizing or the painting surface protection), the following “original” accessories of the system:
- wall brackets in extruded aluminium (± 30 mm adjustment according to the bracket used);
- support springs (in aisi 301 stainless steel), enabling the horizional and vertical adjustment of the aluminium panel; they are self-locking and complete with antivibration gaskets;
- wall support springs of the thermoinsulating panels in hardened and tempered steel.
The structure can be adjusted differently, oppose the wind and nevertheless allow the thermal expansion of the different components.
The standard depth of the aluminium structure varies from 30 mm. to 195 mm., thickness of the covering aluminium panel not included.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:
1Unitised double skin curtain wall with thermal break with vertical and horizontal joint and possible customisation of the internal finishing of every element. This system can absorb structural dilatation of the building and little Earth tremor.
2)Possibility to reduce the interspaced between the two skins according to the energetically requirement.
3)Possibility to realise the vertical division between the skins (cell's shoulder) with transparent materials, both with mechanical / structural glass fixing or with point fixed system.
4)Internal cabling arrangement for internal and external lighting systems and for demotic systems to obtain the maximum comfort and to modify, if necessary, the ventilation strategies.
5)Vertical flow-dynamic separation to avoid the re-letting in of exhaust aria in the ventilation system.
