Description

Presentation
TTSBPT6 is the A3M motorized rising barrier designed for wide vehicle passages. Intended for controlled access with passage widths between 4.5 and 6.0 m, it is suitable for buses, coaches and heavy goods vehicles. Typical applications include truck access to construction and industrial sites, and vehicle entry to bus depots or coach garages.

Structure and motorisation
The barrier features a motorized long boom capable of effectively closing a 6 m opening. The drive unit is a reinforced model designed to withstand the significant cantilever of a long boom. Full vertical position is reached in less than 7 s. The chassis provides high rigidity (same chassis as TTSBPT4) and a steel insert is supplied for anchoring into a concrete slab to prevent pull-out of fixings.

Advanced functions and configuration
The mainboard performs learning of the upper and lower end stops after about ten cycles. Motor control runs at full speed at the start and middle of travel then slows when approaching the end stops for progressive stopping. A set of micro-switches and potentiometers allows adjustment of timers, opening/closing modes and control of external accessories (default automatic closing after 5 s, or manual mode where the boom remains open until a new impulse).

Detection options and free exit
Optional sealed loop detector to be cast into the roadway on the inner side for automatic opening on vehicle approach. Optional detection radar for free exit, to be installed on an inner post (~1 m upstream); beam parameters configurable via Android/iOS smartphone app.

Access control integration
The TTSBPT6 can be controlled by any access control system via a dry contact (relay). Integration with CardPass3 (QR code readers, badges, biometric) is possible. Stainless steel posts (e.g. MATTS220DI) and totems are offered to install readers, intercoms and ANPR cameras at car or truck height.

Safety
An emitter photoelectric cell is integrated into the barrier body; a receiver unit is fixed to a ground post opposite. If the beam is interrupted during descent, the boom stops or rises according to configuration. The boom is fitted with a lower rubber protection to reduce impacts. Optional yellow flashing warning lamp (flashes during motion) and optional bicolor traffic light (red/green) are available for signalling and traffic management.

Accessories and controls
Available options: LED lighting along the boom, remote control (range ~25 m by default, ~200 m with optional external antenna), remote memory up to 1000 transmitters, push-button control station with open/close buttons and emergency stop mushroom, manual key release for operation during power loss.
