Overview
The A3M totem is designed for access control integrators to house video surveillance, intercom/videophone, RFID badge readers and biometric readers. The stainless steel totem enables simplified installation of these devices in a practical post suitable for intercoms at parking entrances, badge-reader posts for barrier or sliding-gate activation, and camera support for surveillance.

Corrosion-resistant stainless steel control totem
The totem is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel sheet 12/10ths (base 30/10ths) to ensure long-term durability for outdoor access control installations. The material prevents corrosion and provides high rigidity and a neat appearance. AISI 316L version available on request.

Access and maintenance
The totem features a lockable hinged access panel located behind the fixing position for the videophone or badge reader. The hinged panel holds open at 90°. An internal DIN rail allows mounting of an RCD, switch or power outlet (accessories not supplied). Two M5 bolts on the access panel provide secure fixing for enclosures and electronics.

Prepared for peripheral integration
The post is engineered to facilitate installation and commissioning of surveillance cameras, intercoms/videophones, RFID badge readers and biometric readers. The designated position for the videophone or badge reader includes an access compartment behind the fixing area.

Double-height versions (VL and PL)

• VL version: 1300 mm height with one access panel (suitable for light vehicles: cars, vans).
• VL+PL version: 2200 mm height with two access panels (central VL panel and upper PL panel) — suitable for heavy vehicles and trucks.

Applications

• Corporate access control: mounting intercoms/videophones and badge readers at parking entrances (entry and exit posts).
• Construction site access: badge-controlled entry with the double-height VL+PL version for light and heavy vehicle drivers.
• Support for surveillance cameras and other access peripherals at barriers and sliding gates.
