Description
The Apricop units are electric gear units with a single‑phase motor coupled to a self-locking worm screw gearbox with limit stop. Designed to operate bottom-hinged or outward-opening windows, they are suitable for single installations or continuous rows of windows and skylights.

Operation
Opening and closing are achieved by rack rails that run on a toothed sprocket driven by a shaft rotated by the gear unit. Rotational transmission along the shaft and between elements is ensured by bolted joints and coupling pins.

Spring compensator
The spring compensator at the end of the rack can be of pulling or pushing type depending on window closing direction; it ensures even pressure on the window frames.

Rotary shaft and supports
Rotary shaft support brackets run on ball bearings and incorporate adjustment slots; counterbrackets are available. Designed for shafts with a diameter of 33 mm.

Rack rails and bracket
Rack rails use brass toothed sprockets that must be fixed to the rotary shaft with press-fit bolts. The bracket screwed to the window is secured on the rack with a spring-loaded pin.
